Rishabh Sinha shares his experince of working with industry superstars Rishi Kapoor and Mithun Chakraborty

Rishabh Sinha plays a negative character in Subhash Ghai's Kaanchi. When he was recently asked about his experience of working with Rishi Kapoor, Mithun Chakraborty and Subhash Ghai, he said:

“It was a learning experience to work with Rishi Kapoor and Mithun Chakraborty. I got a lot of acting tips from them. The best part was to see Rishi ji working with Subhash Ghai. One good thing we learn from senior actors is that you need to become the Director’s actor, especially when you are working with Subhash Ghai, who knows exactly what he wants from a scene."

Yesterday Once More

After a five-year hiatus, the Showman is back with a new film, Kaanchi, which also launches a new face, Mishti.

Mirror lensman Sachin Haralkar was present at Film City, Goregaon, where a fresh schedule of the movie was being shot by Subhash Ghai.

Seen in the photograph are Mithun Chakraborty and Rishi Kapoor hugging each other and looking rather animated as if having a fun conversation.

An eyewitness said: "The two of them get busy talking to each other in between shots. Ghai too joins them and sometimes, gets nostalgic, taking a trip down memory lane. However, once it is time to shoot, they all become rather focussed and concentrate on what they are supposed to do."

According to the eyewitness, as Ghai has worked with Rishi and Mithun previously, the trio share a great equation and the atmosphere on the sets is always charged. Apparently, at some point during the shoot, Ghai even remarked: "Magic is created by two things, the characters written in the script and the characters played by the actors. And I only work with people I have a rapport with."

Kartik Tiwari, "Subhash Ghai is going to make it big with Kaanchi"

Subhash Ghai returns to direction after a hiatus of five years with this ambitious project. Ghai had last directed the Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer Yuvvraaj.

Ghai has been a wonderful mentor to Kartik, who plays the male lead in Kaanchi. Talking about his shooting experience, the actors says, "We shot in Nainital for 15-20 days and it felt like a picnic. The place was beautiful and we'd end up partying every day. But we also worked very hard".

Elaborating on the showman of Bollywood, he adds, "Subhash sir is very clear with what he wants. He saw to it that we completed our daily schedule on time. I don't know how he managed that. This was my first experience with him and he's happy with the entire cast. He has so much passion and energy, I can't imagine myself in his shoes and doing what he does. The amount of effort he's put into Kaanchi, he's going to make it big with this film"

Karitk is ready to do anything on screen!

As a new comer in the Hindi film industry, Kartik is willing to do anything as long as the role demands it, as the actor puts it.

"It depends on the need of the story, script and character. If I feel fully connected to the character, then why not? I think like a real person and what he would do in that given situation. As an actor, you have to be free and can't afford to be shy. You have to be besharam. I take my profession very seriously so I don't have any doubts regarding characters I play".

Kaanchi also stars Mithun Chakraborty, Mishti and Rishi Kapoor and is slated for an August release.

Subhash Ghai: "Kaanchi is a promising film"

Mumbai, May 13 (IANS) Filmmaker Subhash Ghai, who is currently busy with his directorial venture "Kaanchi", calls it a promising film that has been made with great energy and passion.

"'Kaanchi' is a very promising film. I have made it with great energy and passion and I hope that you (audience) will feel that energy and passion in the theatre," Ghai told reporters here Sunday during the celebration of 100 years of Indian cinema at his institute Whistling Woods International.
"Kaanchi" features Kartik Tiwari and newcomer Mishti in the lead roles. The film also features Rishi Kapoor and Mithoon Chakraborty.

In his more than three-decade-long career so far, Ghai not only discovered talents like Manisha Koirala (with "Saudagar") and Mahima Chaudhry (with "Pardes") but has also worked with big and established stars like Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit and Shah Rukh Khan, among others.

And now in his latest directorial "Kaanchi", he is working with new faces but for Ghai, it is the story which is important.

According to him, everyone who can pull out the character in his film, is a star for him.
"For me, only that person is star who is in front of the camera at that moment, whether he is a newcomer, or a star," Ghai said.

"For me, my subject, my story (that I am telling) is important. For me, all the actors with whom I am working are superstars and vice-versa. Even a superstar is always an actor for me, who is playing a character," he added.

"Kaanchi" is a love story of a young, beautiful girl from northern mountains, who fights against power.

It is slated to release Aug 30.

Subhash Ghai, "I am working with fine actors"

The shooting of Kaanchi was supposed to be done in Madh island (Mumbai) before it shifted to Nainital, and I love the fact that we chose the new location :)

On the sets, Subhash Ghai encourages the entire unit! Especially me and Kartik Tiwari

I was glad when Subhash Ghai said this,
"I am working with fine actors, Mithun and Chintoo (Rishi Ji) are my friends and Mishti & Kartik are very talented. After pack-up it's party time for everyone on the sets and we enjoy a lot. Shooting in Nainital is fun and the weather is super here!"

Every Woman is Beautiful and it just grows with time

The beauty of a woman
Is not in the clothes she wears,
The figure that she carries,
Or the way she combs her hair.

The beauty of a woman must be seen from in her eyes,
Because that is the doorway to her heart,
The place where love resides.
The beauty of a woman is not in a facial mole
But true beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul.

It is the caring that she lovingly gives,
The passion that she shows,
And the beauty of a woman
With passing years only grows!
