Doing stunts is not a piece of cake

In a particular scene, I was suppose to jump from 40 feet height!

My double body was suppose to the stunt but I was confident I can do it, so I asked the action director to let me do the stunt.

This is what Subhash Ji has to say,

"The body double was suppose to do the stunt but Mishti felt she could do it. She gave the shot and we all clapped but then we realised her knees were bleeding."

He adds, "But hats off to her spirit, she came on the sets the next day though she was in pain and had fever"

Small injuries will not stop me from doing what I love :)

An opportunity for all the aspiring Filmmakers!

Subhash Ghai, "I am working with fine actors"

The shooting of Kaanchi was supposed to be done in Madh island (Mumbai) before it shifted to Nainital, and I love the fact that we chose the new location :)

On the sets, Subhash Ghai encourages the entire unit! Especially me and Kartik Tiwari

I was glad when Subhash Ghai said this,
"I am working with fine actors, Mithun and Chintoo (Rishi Ji) are my friends and Mishti & Kartik are very talented. After pack-up it's party time for everyone on the sets and we enjoy a lot. Shooting in Nainital is fun and the weather is super here!"

Always in style!

Subhash Ghai and Rishi Kapoor met after 32 years on the sets of a movie for the shoot of Kaanchi, after the legendary hit movie KARZ

Everyone was thrilled to see Rishi ji on the sets in his new and never before look! I couldn't describe in words how it felt to have him on the sets. But what happened later was something no one would have expected. When the scene was about to start and Subhash ji said "Action" Rishi ji started playing the famous tune from KARZ and took everyone by great surprise.

It was a pleasant thing to happen on the sets and I am so glad I was present to witness this.

Will continue to share such exciting news and behind the scenes from the sets :)

First Look of Rishi Kapoor in Kaanchi! So excited :D

For all you guys out there, a excited as I am that Rishi Kapoor is a part of my debut movie the more excited I am right now unveiling his FIRST look in Kaanchi

I am sure you must have thought that Rishi ji is playing a normal role of a businessmen but there's more to it. He will appear as a sophisticated & classy gentlemen flaunting his love for bright colours!

Here it is guys! Hope you will like it and do share your feedback on it :D

In search of answers...

Are we Indians coward,
Or are we shy..
Or we care somehow,
But we dont wanna try,

We have adjusted ourselves,
So well in this corrupted place,
Has it become our tradition ?
Or we lack the guts to face…

We say corruption chokes,
Then why we Indians breathe it ?,
We say corruption kills,
Then why we breed it ?,

The corruption helps,
To set the culprits free,
It blinds the law,
& still we shamely see,

It widens the gap,
Of poor and rich,
Then we continue the same,
Without any hitch… ?

Somehow I feel…

Our coward mind has,
Hurled down his brain,
Come what may,
Even let our money drain…

Has this become, Our way of life ?
To adjust with whatever it is…

And move on, Without a break to re-think, Re-construct, and reform our Corrugated minds…

Is it that no business runs without it ?,
Or is it that we dont wanna put an end to it..?
Are we not prepared for it.. ?
Or we really dont care ?

Many questions in these little brain, And almost all unanswered……

But atleast we can support those,
Who have atleast tried to stand for it,
Some greatones like Anna Hazare.
